This cave has been bugging me for months. Despite two previous trips I still hadn’t reached the end of what seemed to be a bog standard Thai temple / show cave.
Time for another caving tour. This time we wanted to visit a few provinces in Northern Thailand, including a reconnaissance for the Shepton Mallet CC’s February 2009 expedition.
I hadn’t been to Mae Hong Son before so the chance of a trip there, in the company of John Dunkley who explored the region in the 1980s and 1990s and authored the Caves of Thailand, was not to be missed.
