All the caves in John Dunkley's Caves of Thailand have now been entered into a database (Speleobase by Paul De Bie of the SC Avalon, Belgium) as have those in the Caves of Northern Thailand. The database has 3,200 entries, but work has now started on going through all the literature and references to find more caves. If you would like a copy of the database let me know.
The deep diving team of the Asian Cave Diving Club returned to Krabi in February. After several set-up dives Cedric Verdier and Ben Remenants reached a depth of -240m on the 18th February 2007.

A visit to the publisher's bookshop during November 2006 means I now have copies of both editions of this book.
Cedric Verdier and Mike Gadd returned to Tham Sra Keao in Krabi and on 17th May Cedric reached a depth of -201m on a 6 hour dive. Sra Keao has overtaken the -199m deep Big House Cave in Chiang Mai to claim the title of deepest cave in the country.
